I just wanted to drop a note to let you know that Gabriel and his friends are some of the best kids we have here at GLTHS. Almost every day, he and a few of his buddies (Carlos Medina and Francis Ndicu, usually) come to the tutoring center to work on their homework and help not only each other but other kids looking for help! They do this without being asked or required to do so and I find it so heartwarming. I keep telling them that I am so proud of their behavior, and I thought you should know too. Not only do Gabriel and his friends work hard in class, they show their commitment to learning by continuing to learn after school. They also have excellent school spirit and attend many sporting events to cheer on their classmates. Gabriel and his friends give me pride and hope for the future of our student body, and their attitudes will take them far in life.
